About the Role

Are you a Building Surveyor Graduate or a recently qualified surveyor working towards your chartership? Then we have the perfect role for you in our Complex Works team! We are open to taking on more junior candidates who may have recently graduate or qualified in relevant qualifications who we can train on the job.

This training opportunity will help you to put your qualification into practice, building on the skills and behaviours to diagnose, assess and resolve building defects which are then applied to Alliance’s properties.

You will support the Complex Works team with the end-to-end process of surveying, from conducting condition surveys to project management. This will include preparing report for clients.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for working with our customers and helping create good quality of homes to live in. You will learn practical skills on the job and the salary will be reviewed as appropriate after the first year of your role in line with your skills, behaviours and experience.

Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence with access to your own vehicle is required. We will pay 45 per mile for any travel over your normal home to office miles.

About You

As a recent graduate or someone who has recently qualified, you will have an RICS accredited Building surveying degree (or a similar qualification) with a commitment to ongoing professional development.

You will have a strong understanding of IT systems such as Microsoft Office and be able to communicate complex issues to customers and colleagues alike.

With diagnosing and assessing building defects, you will have strong analytical problem-solving skills and the ability to find practical solutions to challenges.

You will have the right attitude, dedication and application of learning to succeed.
