At Alliance Homes, we think about our properties as much more than just bricks and mortar; they’re the foundation of thriving lives and successful communities. This is why we’re working hard to make sure our homes meet the high standard and quality our customers deserve, but we know there’s a lot more to do. High quality, accurate data about our properties enables us to make the right decisions for our customers, our organisation and the environment. We’re looking to strengthen our Asset Management team, and improve the quality of our property data, with the addition of a new Lead Stock Condition Surveyor.

Our properties are located across the West of England.

What you’ll do

Joining our agile and diverse organisation as Lead Stock Condition Surveyor, you will manage a small team who collect detailed data in our customers’ homes and across our wider property portfolio. By making sure that our properties meet the relevant standards and regulations, your role will be crucial in supporting business resilience and the long-term health of our organisation.

You will carry out surveys to properties and places, and undertake quality assurance checks, providing feedback to your team and training as required.

What we’re looking for

With technical expertise and hands-on experience in identifying and diagnosing property issues you will also be familiar with the Housing Health and Safety rating system and the requirement to complete assessments.

Customer focussed, with a passion for delivering excellent results, you should have a track record of successfully leading teams to achieve positive outcomes.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of talented individuals who can help us reach this goal.

We are Disability Confident Leader and guarantee that any individual with a disability will get an interview if they match all the essential criteria for the role.

We want you to have every opportunity to showcase your talents so please let us know if there is anything we can do to make the recruitment process work for you (adjustments due to a disability e.g dyslexia, times of the day to avoid due to childcare or caring responsibilities to name a few).

Here, you can work where and how you choose*. It’s about outputs rather than time spent in the office. You can work from one of our hubs, your home, or by connecting to a hotspot if you’re out and about.

We’ve created flexible workspaces where everyone is welcome and invested in technology so you can log in anywhere and anytime and take control of your work/life balance.

Our head office in Portishead is situated by the Marina, with free parking and within easy walking distance to high street shops, coffee bars, restaurants, and several supermarkets. The offices are newly refurbished offering a modern ‘agile’ and collaborative working environment.

If you need any support with your application, please call 03000120120 or email askhr@alliancehomes.org.uk and we will be happy to help.
